Guidehouse is seeking a Staff Scientist to lead interdisciplinary research from bench to bedside with NHLBI. The role is full-time and on-site in Bethesda, MD, combining biochemical, molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches to study lysosome-related biology and disease.

The successful candidate will mentor lab members, present findings at scientific meetings, and collaborate across teams to advance translational research initiatives.

Formación

• PhD with minimum two years of postdoctoral research experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or related field.
• Mastery of Zebrafish models including husbandry, genetic crossing, and genotyping protocols.
• Strong publication record across relevant disciplines.
• Experience working with animal models.
• Expertise in cellular biology and advanced microscopy imaging.

Responsabilidades

• Provide laboratory leadership and support for interdisciplinary research.
• Collaborate across bench-to-bedside translational efforts with NHLBI.
• Train and mentor all laboratory members and staff.
• Present research findings at meetings and conferences.
• Characterize lysosome roles in physiological and pathological conditions.
