Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse, acute care settings within Medical Unit 6. The role supports a 24/7/365 operation and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing, holds an active Ohio RN license and BLS certification. BSN is required after 5 years of employment; day shift, 36 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis – Perform initial and ongoing health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning – Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation – Evaluate and document response and revise plan with multidisciplinary team.
• Leadership – Participate in process improvement to achieve quality, satisfaction, and financial targets.
• Operations – Perform operational duties as assigned.
• As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), emphasize safety, quality and efficiency in duties.
