Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The RN delegates nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs using the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency within a High Reliability Organization (HRO) framework, with a Day shift and 36 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
• RN license in Ohio (or multi-state compact) in good standing.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN may be required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates responses and revises plan of care with the team.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement activities to improve quality and satisfaction.
• Operations - Manages daily nursing operations in the department.
