Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in Med Surg Ortho Unit 2. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates to LPNs and UAPs, and coordinates care from assessment through evaluation.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing health assessments, planning and implementing care, and leading process improvements for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction in a 24/7 environment. Day shift, 24 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred or BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health status on admission and during stay.
• Plan care and identify expected outcomes with the care team.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and revise plans as needed.
• Lead quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives as part of the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient care.
