Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in our Medical Unit 3. The role requires an active Ohio RN license, BLS, and offers a Day shift with 36 hours per week. The department emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a High Reliability Organization.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with LPNs and UAPs. BSN is preferred after five years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: performs initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: documents planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluates care and revises plan with the team.
• Leadership: participates in process improvement to improve quality and safety.
• Operations: supports daily department operations.
