Job summary

OhioHealth in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in acute care settings. The RN will be accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs as appropriate.

The role covers assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients, with emphasis on safety and high reliability practices in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and active RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification required for patient care.
• BSN preferred with 5 years employment requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis: initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes identification/planning: document interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/evaluation: evaluate care, revise plans as needed.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements for quality and safety.
• Operations: maintain safe, efficient unit operations and workflow.
