Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff in Amgen's Operations function. The role is on-site at manufacturing sites with a hybrid schedule, including a minimum of three on-site days per week.

You will investigate HR matters, support performance management, discipline, accommodations, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development to train on policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent HR experience is required.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation is essential.
• Knowledge of employment laws and ER practices is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff in Amgen's Operations function.
• Conduct impartial HR investigations and document findings.
• Partner on accommodations, leaves, and return-to-work processes with occupational health and HR teams.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development on policy training.
• Track and manage HR case records and improve ER processes.
