Mammoth Distribution in North Hollywood, CA, seeks an Employee Relations Manager to own employee relations across Operations, lead investigations, coach managers, and drive PIP processes and culture programs. Reporting to the CHRO, the role focuses on hourly workforces and cross-functional collaboration within Production, Manufacturing, Facilities, Lab, Quality, Inventory, Distribution, and Transportation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years focused on employee relations for hourly workforces in California.
• Experience leading and documenting workplace investigations end to end.
• Employee relations experience in California.
• Experience guiding managers through PIPs, corrective action, and terminations.
• Working knowledge of federal and California employment law.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake, planning, and investigation of workplace complaints in Operations.
• Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses; write defensible findings.
• Maintain a complete case log and documentation for every ER matter.
• Escalate matters with potential legal exposure to the CHRO promptly.
• Advise Operations managers on PIPs, warnings, and termination readiness.
• Prepare and review PIPs and termination risk reviews.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations and training on feedback and accountability.
• Track ER trends and deliver quarterly ER reports to the CHRO.
• Partner with Operations leaders on talent and org effectiveness reviews.
• Own culture initiatives and events, including budgets and vendors.
