Job summary

CHG Healthcare is seeking a Staff React Engineer to lead the architecture of a React-based analytics platform hosted in Snowflake. You’ll set standards, mentor engineers, and raise React fluency across the Data & Analytics org while collaborating with data and BI teams.

With 8+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in React, you’ll drive front-end architecture, data visualization, and AI tool development, while maintaining autonomy and strong ownership across the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on React and front-end architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with data visualization libraries and modern front-end tooling.
• Strong ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical enablement programs.
• Experience migrating or integrating BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker) to React-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the core architecture of CHG’s React-based reporting platform hosted in Snowflake.
• Evaluate tooling and integration approaches in coordination with leadership.
• Partner with data/analytics teams to migrate Tableau dashboards to React.
• Mentor engineers, BI developers, and analysts on React through reviews and workshops.
• Build AI-assisted engineering tools and guardrails within platform standards.
