Job summary

CHG Healthcare is seeking a Staff React Engineer to shape the architecture of our React‑based data and analytics platform hosted on Snowflake. You will lead frontend standards, collaborate with data and BI teams, and mentor engineers across the analytics organization.

You will drive modernization efforts, migrate dashboards from Tableau/Power BI, and contribute to AI tooling that accelerates development while maintaining platform governance. The role reports to the Director of Data Engineering.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years focused on React and frontend architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience migrating legacy BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to custom‑built solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and lead the core architecture of CHG’s React‑based reporting platform hosted in Snowflake, setting standards for component patterns, data‑fetching, state management, and performance.
Serve as the primary technical expert on architecture, evaluating tooling and integration approaches in coordination with leadership.
Partner with data engineering, analytics engineering, and BI teams to prioritize and migrate dashboards to React.
Mentor and train engineers, BI developers, and analysts org‑wide on React through code reviews, workshops, and pair programming.
Build and champion AI‑assisted engineering tools and guardrails that help the team build faster and more consistently within platform standards.
