Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Project Change Engineer to join the Sentinel Systems Engineering team in Roy, UT. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave program changes within ICBM systems and related infrastructure.

You will oversee change processes, develop packages, and coordinate with Configuration Management to ensure board readiness and timely closure. A U.S. citizen with required clearances is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years with a Bachelor in Science; 10+ years with a Master; 8+ years with a PhD.
• U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years in writing, managing, and tracking intricate requirements using tools such as DOORs, Jama, or Polarion; defining verification plans and test procedures.
• 8+ years applying System Engineering MBSE, methodology, and PLM practices.
• 8+ years in Engineering Change Proposal processes and CI traceability within PLM tools (serialization of hardware).
• 8+ years in CMDM with knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, DOORs, Cameo, CPLM, SAP, MES.
• 8+ years in project management with leadership and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee changes to program and baseline with cradle-to-grave responsibility.
• Develop change request packages and present through change boards.
• Ensure change packages meet quality standards and board readiness.
• Coordinate follow-up, resolutions, and approvals for changes.
• Provide input into impact assessments and board action item closure.
• Interface with Configuration Management on change requests and finalization.
• Ensure changes are implemented before closure and tracked to closure.
