Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Staff Systems Engineer (level 5) in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program. You will engage in use case development, requirements allocation, and architecture definition across large integrated systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and verify requirements, develop MBSE models, and ensure traceability from concept through validation, with a standard 9/80 schedule and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience; or master’s with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, current and within scope.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP approval.
• 1 year of experience managing requirements in DOORS.
• 3 years in Systems Engineering and Integration and Test (SEIT) processes.
• 3 years with MBSE tools (Cameo).
• 1 year of Agile experience with JIRA/Confluence.
• 3 years with C2, security, cybersecurity, or military aerospace domains.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop system engineering artifacts.
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs.
• Ensure requirements are represented in the model.
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Contribute to system requirements development and analysis.
