Job summary

Muon Space in San Jose is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead the RF Sensing program from planning through delivery, aligning scope, schedule, and budget. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team across engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget performance and contract compliance.

Based in San Jose with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) or remote from an approved location, you will drive roadmaps, manage cost baselines, and support growth

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience in program management.
• Track record of delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with high quality.
• Experience in development and/or program management of satellite based systems.
• Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules.
• Experience in vendor and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort and drive day-to-day execution of the program.
• Plan and coordinate resources with internal and external stakeholders.
• Synchronize a diverse technical team with tools, practices, and process.
• Participate in technical discussions and define scoping, schedules, and solutions.
• Track and report program metrics on schedule, cost, risk, and technical performance.
• Serve as the face of the company to customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
