Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a Staff Program Manager to lead its RF Sensing Program, delivering solutions on time and within budget while coordinating with engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations.

Hybrid schedule in San Jose with 3 days in-office, remote possible from approved location. You will develop roadmaps, schedules, and budgets, monitor contracts, support proposals and captures, and ensure successful program execution through cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience in program management.
• B.S. in an engineering discipline, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
• Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with high quality.
• Experience in development and/or program management of satellite based systems. Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules.
• Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines.
• Experience in vendor and contract management

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort, driving day-to-day execution of the program
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate the resources necessary to execute the program
• Synchronize a diverse technical team by establishing tools, practices, and process
• Participate in technical discussions, ask probing questions, and work with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and solutions to issues
• Track and report program metrics on schedule, resource, cost, risk, and technical performance
• Serve as the face of the company to customers, subcontractors and suppliers
