Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging for the Data Security portfolio, spanning DLP, DSPM, ITM, and AI data security. You’ll own GTM and launch planning, draft compelling content, and enable sales and partners with battlecards and playbooks.

You’ll work with product and field teams to translate customer insights into sharper messaging, stronger launches, and measurable business impact across endpoints, email, SaaS, and cloud apps.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product marketing for cybersecurity or enterprise software.
• Strong GTM strategy, launches, sales enablement experience.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer messaging.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop positioning and messaging for Proofpoint’s data security portfolio.
• Own GTM strategy and launch planning for new data security capabilities.
• Create high-impact content across solution briefs, web pages, presentations, webinars, blogs, and customer-facing materials.
• Build sales and partner enablement, including playbooks and battlecards.
• Track market, buyer, and competitive trends across data security categories.
• Serve as data security SME in trainings, briefings, events, and executive presentations.
• Translate customer insights into sharper messaging and stronger launches.
