Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the Data Security Group to act as a trusted technical advisor and pre-sales lead for customers in the Eastern time zone. You will champion Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk, and DSPM solutions and partner with account teams to win complex deals.

You will collaborate across Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction while delivering training and internal knowledge

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of proven track record selling solutions as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience in Data Security and Insider Risk areas preferred.
• Strong technical presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Proofpoint pre-sales as Technical Lead throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop account penetration strategies.
• Design and present Data Security solutions including DLP, Insider Risk and DSPM.
• Support professional services, training, and industry events as needed.
• Provide customer insights to product and marketing teams.
