Job summary

Plaid seeks a Senior Product Manager to define and build the first non-bank data offering within the Network Enablement and Access team. You will shape the multi-year strategy around data types beyond banking, including property tax and merchant-level data, and decide build, buy, or partner paths with conviction.

You will start with a small engineering team and drive a compelling one-year plan to prove value, then scale with a long-term expansion plan and rigorous data quality metrics to guide

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ in product management or founder/operator roles.
• Analytical rigor with data, cost models, and metrics.
• Deep technical fluency: large-scale systems, APIs, ML models.
• Platform and systems thinking, design for reuse and long-term impact.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration with clear trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year non-bank data supply strategy grounded in what our products and customers need rather than what is technically interesting
• Build and quickly execute against the one year plan - showcasing fast momentum and impact
• Force-rank new data types across the company and own the business case for each, including the ones you recommend against
• Make and defend build, buy, and partner decisions alongside data partnerships, corporate development, and legal
• Ship Plaid's first non-bank data offerings, as internal insight inputs or externalized to customers
• Partner with engineering and data teams on the taxonomies, quality controls, and coverage metrics that new data types require
• Define the metrics for supply expansion and report progress to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
