Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Product Manager for Data Supply Health and Traffic to establish a new product area foundational to Plaid's offerings. You will define allocation strategies, scale traffic across products, and manage paid data access economics, balancing freshness, capacity, and cost.

You will own the roadmap, collaborate with engineering and data-provider teams, and translate technical constraints into clear internal priorities and trade-offs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management or equivalent founder/operator roles.
• Comfortable working with data, cost models, and operational metrics.
• Ability to reason about large-scale systems, load management, API platforms, and ML models.
• Think in systems and design for reuse and long-term impact.
• Strong communication and influence across engineering, data, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Plaid's strategy and roadmap for data-supply traffic, health, and cost efficiency.
• Build and prioritize traffic-optimization initiatives leveraging ML models and provider negotiations.
• Bridge between data-provider relationship teams and internal product teams to translate constraints into priorities.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to understand system behavior and turn analysis into decisions.
• Establish and track core traffic and cost metrics, identify risks, and measure progress.
