Job summary

Plaid seeks a Product Manager for Data Supply Health and Traffic to define allocation strategies for constrained provider capacity, scale traffic across products, and manage paid data access economics. You will own the roadmap, work with engineering and data-provider teams, and translate contractual constraints into clear product priorities.

You will operate in a highly analytical, cross-functional environment, balancing data freshness with provider capacity and cost.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ in product management or equivalent founder/operator roles.
• Analytical rigor with data, cost models, and operational metrics.
• Deep technical fluency: large-scale systems, load management, API platforms, and ML models.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Plaid's strategy and roadmap for data-supply traffic, health, and cost efficiency.
• Build and prioritize traffic-optimization initiatives leveraging ML and provider negotiations.
• Bridge data-provider relationships with internal product teams to translate constraints into priorities.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to understand system behavior and inform decisions.
• Establish and track core traffic and cost metrics to identify risks and drive progress.
