Job summary

Plaid is looking for a Product Manager for Data Supply Health and Traffic to define how Plaid allocates constrained provider capacity and scales traffic across products. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and paid-data economics, collaborating with engineering and data-provider teams to translate constraints into product priorities and measurable outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data freshness, cost efficiency, and reliability, balancing capacity with product

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ in product management or equivalent founder/operator roles.
• Analytical rigor and proficiency with data, cost models, and metrics.
• Deep technical fluency in large-scale systems, load management, and API platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Plaid's strategy and roadmap for data-supply traffic, health, and cost efficiency.
• Build and prioritize traffic-optimization initiatives leveraging ML models.
• Bridge between Plaid's data-provider relationship teams and internal product teams, translating provider constraints into internal priorities.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to understand system behavior and make informed decisions.
• Establish and track core traffic and cost metrics to identify risks and measure progress.
