Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team to shape how users discover and use credit, from shopping to repayment and marketing. You will own strategy, translate capabilities into intuitive experiences, and work with design, engineering, analytics, and legal to balance growth and risk.

You will lead with clarity, run experiments, and define success metrics to improve activation, conversion, and repeat engagement while maintaining responsible access to credit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, ecommerce, marketplaces, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience independently setting direction for a substantial product area and aligning multiple teams.
• Ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences and maintain consumer trust.
• Strategic depth with practical product and platform decisions and engineering collaboration.
• Analytical and experimental rigor using research, data, and experiments to prioritize opportunities.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and communicating rationale and risks.
• Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and priorities across multiple teams.
• Build experiences that make credit understandable for consumers at checkout and beyond.
• Develop personalized consumer journeys using research and experiments.
• Connect platform capabilities to consumer outcomes, including prequalification and purchasing power.
• Lead tradeoff decisions with cross-functional partners and senior leaders to balance user needs, growth, risk, and commitments.
• Define success metrics and drive activation, conversion, and engagement while supporting responsible credit access.
