Job summary

affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover and use credit. You will own strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex capabilities into intuitive products that drive activation and engagement.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate insights into priorities, and measure success with funnel analysis and experiments, while upholding responsible access to credit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with success launching and scaling fintech, e-commerce, or similar complex products.
• Leadership across teams, setting direction and aligning stakeholders around measurable outcomes.
• Strong consumer product judgment and ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences.
• Strategic and technical depth, collaborating with engineers on cross-functional capabilities.
• Analytical and experimental rigor to prioritize opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Ownership in ambiguity with structured decision-making and clear rationale.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences across shopping, repayment, and marketing.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options before checkout and understand purchasing power.
• Develop personalized journeys using research and experimentation to meet user needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes, partnering with purchasing power and credit decisioning teams.
• Lead consequential decisions with cross-functional partners and clear recommendations.
• Define success metrics and use funnel analysis and feedback to improve activation and conversion.
