Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover and use credit. You will own strategy for credit experiences, spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex capabilities into intuitive products that drive activation and engagement.

You will lead cross-functional teams, from Engineering to Legal, to resolve tradeoffs and deliver measurable improvements in activation, conversion, and customer understanding of credit availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with track record from discovery to launch and adoption in fintech/e-commerce/complex environments.
• Leadership across teams, setting direction for substantial product areas and aligning multiple teams around priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong consumer product judgment with ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences and clear communication.
• Strategic and technical depth connecting long-term opportunities to practical platform decisions and working with engineers.
• Analytical and experimental rigor using customer research, data, and experiments to prioritize opportunities and scale decisions.
• Ownership in ambiguity; bringing structure to open-ended problems and communicating rationale, risks, and needs.
• Relevant domain curiosity in credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences across shopping, repayment, and marketing.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options before checkout and understand purchasing power.
• Create personalized consumer journeys using research and experiments to meet user needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes by owning merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences with partner teams.
• Lead decisions by coordinating Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal teams to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define success, lead discovery and experimentation, and use funnel analysis and feedback to improve activation, conversion, and engagement while ensuring responsible access to credit.
