Job summary

Kong in Milan is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the AI Management team. You will own modules that connect, govern, supervise, and optimize agentic AI, collaborating across global teams to define requirements and deliver features on a tight, measurable roadmap.

You will partner with engineering leaders, product marketing, and sales to ensure successful delivery, drive cross-team dependencies, and support regional field activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience owning and shipping technical products.
• Experience in agentic AI, infrastructure, developer tools, and/or platform software.
• Experience delivering across distributed teams and time zones.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements for engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the product direction for AI Management modules, define requirements and drive delivery with engineering.
• Coordinate cross-product infrastructure and dependencies within AI Management and Kong’s platform.
• Own a clear roadmap balancing new features, debt, and platform work.
• Serve as the bridge between engineering, design, marketing, and leadership.
• Support field activities and sales enablement where proximity adds value.
