Job summary

Kong Inc., the AI Connectivity Company, is building a new AI Enablement Specialists team. We seek a senior practitioner to work directly with business units, building AI-powered workflows and tools to remove bottlenecks and save time.

You will mentor juniors, coach cross-functional teams, and help define governance and documentation standards while staying current with AI developments to apply them within Kong’s global context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical or cross-functional role.
• Proven AI-powered tools/workflows experience.
• Experience coaching others in technical skills.
• Clear, concise communication.
• Comfort with ambiguity and self-direction.
• Experience working in or with an IT organization or multi-function support.

Responsibilities

• Spend time inside business teams to understand workflows and bottlenecks.
• Build AI-powered workflows, automations, and tools that deliver measurable time savings.
• Coach team members to develop their own AI skills through coaching and sessions.
• Recognize reusable solutions and make them scalable across the organization.
• Establish a framework for tracking AI adoption and report findings to IT leadership.
• Set documentation standards for tools, workflows, and lessons learned.
