Job summary

Okta invites a Staff Product Analyst to drive the Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking programs across our global People Technology team. You will own end-to-end configuration, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization to improve payroll accuracy, absence management, and time tracking processes.

You will partner with People, Payroll, IT, and Finance leadership to translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations, deliver data-driven insights, and champion end-user

Qualifications

• 7+ years configuring Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Deep functional Workday expertise in Payroll (GL, taxes) and global HR processes.
• Experience leading tenant configuration testing (UAT and regression).
• Ability to build reports and dashboards to inform decisions.
• Strong stakeholder communication across time zones.
• Experience in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the long-term roadmap for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Partner with People, Payroll, and Finance leadership to translate needs into specs.
• Design and configure payroll, absence, and time tracking processes.
• Manage full lifecycle from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Leverage Workday reporting to identify trends and optimize processes.
• Oversee third-party vendors (e.g., ADP) for data integrity.
• Drive end-user adoption through documentation and training.
• Ensure privacy and security in line with global regulations.
