Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to optimize the global Workday platform across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle from strategic discovery and design to deployment, acting as a trusted advisor to People, Payroll, IT, and Finance to improve automation and accuracy.

You will collaborate with vendors (e.g., ADP), drive data-driven insights through Workday reporting, and ensure compliance with global privacy and security standards while delivering

Qualifications

• 7+ years configuring Workday Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking.
• Deep functional expertise in Workday Payroll (GL, pay components, taxes), Absence, and Time Tracking configuration.
• Experience leading tenant configuration testing (UAT and regression).
• Ability to build custom reports, dashboards, and hubs for data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Partner with People, Payroll, and Finance leadership to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Design and configure Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking processes and pay components.
• Manage the full lifecycle of payroll, absence, and time tracking configurations from discovery to deployment.
