Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to optimize Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking across the global People Technology landscape. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to deployment, advising stakeholders in People, Payroll, IT, and Finance to drive automation and accuracy.

You will design configurations, validate with testing, and deliver scalable solutions that improve the employee experience while partnering with external vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years configuring Workday Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking.
• Business process design, calculated fields, and eligibility rules.
• Testing and UAT/regression testing to ensure reliable releases.
• Ability to build custom reports and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication across global time zones.
• Agile experience with backlogs and iterative value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on product vision and multi-year roadmap for Workday modules.
• Partner with People, Payroll, and Finance leadership to translate needs into configuration.
• Lead design and configuration of payroll, absence, and time tracking processes.
• Manage lifecycle from discovery through deployment and maintenance.
• Leverage Workday reports to monitor performance and recommend optimizations.
• Oversee vendor relationships (e.g., ADP) for data flows and SLAs.
• Drive training and end-user adoption with docs and guides.
• Ensure compliance and security per global privacy standards.
• Continuously improve processes to reduce manual work and increase accuracy.
