Job summary

Anthropic is advancing safe AI and seeks an engineer for the Platform Portability team to enable Claude across cloud providers. You will design portable infrastructure abstractions for storage, messaging, and connectivity that run at scale and work with internal teams to ensure consistency across clouds.

You will own end-to-end delivery with cloud partners, build release and validation pipelines, and mentor engineers in multi-cloud practices while participating in on-call rotations to maintain

Qualifications

• 8+ years of practical experience building and operating production distributed systems.
• Experience running production workloads across multiple cloud providers.
• Understanding of cloud IAM models and networking primitives across providers.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Production code in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience shipping software across hyperscaler marketplaces or managed-model platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build provider-agnostic infrastructure abstractions for storage, messaging, and connectivity across clouds.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Claude on partner clouds, including build, release, and validation pipelines.
• Collaborate with cloud partners and internal teams to land features, debug issues, and influence roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers on multi-cloud patterns and contribute to on-call rotations and incident response.
