Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a Staff + Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Inference Launch Engineering to scale Claude across AWS, GCP, and Azure with a focus on end-to-end inference delivery and platform reliability.

You will own validation pipelines, CI/CD, and cross-cloud integrations, while driving performance, cost efficiency, and observability across CSPs. A strong distributed systems background and autonomous ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users.
• Experience operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Kubernetes.
• Strong software engineering background and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be on the critical path for frontier model launches and cloud platform integration.
• Own CI/CD for inference server and load balancer across CSPs.
• Improve validation speed and reliability while reducing cost.
• Analyze observability data to identify bottlenecks and drive remediation.
• Collaborate across internal and external partners on deployment strategies.
