Job summary

Henry Schein One seeks a Staff Software Engineer to build and operate internal platforms supporting 30+ development groups and 180+ services. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and drive reliability and scale across the platform.

You’ll own the infrastructure layer, CI/CD tooling, and developer lifecycle tooling, with Python and Node.js use, and AWS-based operations. Remote within the US with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with large language models or similar AI technologies.
• Expert level in unit testing, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Track record of owning a domain and defining cross-team roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the internal platform layer including the infrastructure and CI/CD tooling.
• Develop scalable full-stack solutions with Python and Node.js.
• Own observability tooling and vendor integrations.
• Provide technical oversight across domains and mentor engineers.
• Support and integrate AWS infrastructure across regions.
