Job summary

eHealth is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to architect, build, and scale AWS-native internal developer platforms (IDPs) with AI/ML capabilities. You will lead a technical team, drive automation, and champion a frictionless developer experience across multiple squads.

You will focus on cloud architecture, security, cost efficiency, and self‑service tooling, coordinating with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions that power critical

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, or related fields (7+ years focused on AWS).
Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) with automation and self‑service workflows.
Proven track record designing large-scale AWS-based platforms and ensuring security and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale AWS-based internal developer platforms with AI/ML integration.
Lead CI/CD pipelines and self‑service tooling to empower engineering teams.
Define platform architecture and governance across AWS accounts and services.
Mentor engineering teams on platform engineering best practices and cloud security.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering to align cloud initiatives with business goals.
