Job summary

Pi Health, Inc. seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build automation-first infrastructure across core apps, IdP, cloud automation, and observability. You’ll partner with engineering squads to reduce friction, improve resilience, and establish secure patterns in CI/CD.

You will own foundation systems, drive zero-trust security in delivery pipelines, and elevate developer experience with self-service tooling and automation. This role is remote within the USA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, incl. platform/infrastructure focus
• Strong Python production experience; Go/Rust beneficial
• Experience building automation, developer tooling & platform services
• Hands-on AWS core infra (ECS, EKS, ALB, Aurora)
• IaC with Terraform or OpenTofu
• Identity systems and security patterns (OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, zero-trust)
• Observability with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics or Prometheus/Thanos, Grafana
• Multi-tenant distributed systems design with security/compliance
• Excellent cross-functional communication; on-call readiness
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Architect foundation systems and self-service APIs and pipelines
• Own IdP systems and zero-trust security in CI/CD
• Drive observability and telemetry across services
• Automate cloud infrastructure with IaC for repeatable environments
• Contribute to core codebases across product domains
• Participate in on-call rotation and operational excellence
