Job summary

JLL seeks a Staff Software Developer to architect end-to-end platform solutions and drive agentic AI across the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). You will own platform-wide services and APIs, shaping cloud-native architectures on Azure/AWS and mentoring engineers.

You will guide AI tooling adoption while delivering scalable software for JLL Technologies, collaborating with multiple teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• :10+ years of professional software engineering experience including architecting end-to-end platform solutions across multiple domains
• Strong command of OOP, DDD, EDA, and microservices
• Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python
• Experience building AI-powered features and using AI coding tools
• Cloud-native architecture on Azure and/or AWS
• Documentation for platforms and APIs
• Strong communication across engineers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Architect and build end-to-end platform solutions, backend services, RESTful APIs, and front-end interfaces where needed
• Design, build, and operate microservices and event-driven architectures at scale
• Own the platform's core APIs and shared frameworks with clear documentation
• Architect and modernize services on Azure and/or AWS, collaborating with Cloud/DevOps
• Lead integration of agentic AI, LLM, and MCP-based capabilities into platform services
• Mentor senior and lead engineers and influence architectural direction across teams
