Job summary
Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and build certificate and machine identity capabilities across the Keeper platform. This is a 100% remote role with potential for hybrid work for candidates in the Chicago, IL area.
You will lead backend services, APIs and automation workflows, collaborate with product, security and DevOps teams, and mentor engineers while shaping the technical direction of certificate management.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI.
- Strong understanding of X.509 certificates, TLS and cryptographic concepts.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop certificate lifecycle management capabilities across discovery, enrollment, issuance, deployment, renewal and revocation.
- Design scalable backend services and APIs for certificates, machine identities and cryptographic metadata.
- Build automation workflows across cloud platforms, Kubernetes and enterprise infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership on PKI architecture and cryptographic standards.
