Job summary

Keeper Security is hiring a Senior Federal Platform Engineer to deploy, automate, and sustain Keeper solutions in high‑security U.S. Government environments. This 100% remote role supports IL5/IL6 and classified networks, with travel as needed.

You will build deployment pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure secure, auditable operations across restricted environments while coordinating with security and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps/Platform Eng/SRE or related roles.
• Hands-on with IL5/IL6/FedRAMP High or restricted gov environments.
• Strong CI/CD, release automation, deployment workflows.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible).
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government.
• Python/Bash/PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Secure configuration, patching, logging, access control, hardening.
• Observability—logs, metrics, alerting, troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP/NIST 800-53/RMF, and related controls.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows for federal environments
• Support releases, deployment execution, cutovers, validation, rollback planning, and post-release monitoring
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Maintain hardened infrastructure, baselines, patching, and operational controls for restricted environments
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, application, and platform issues with Eng/Sec teams
• Build logging, monitoring, alerting, and telemetry for visibility and reliability
• Support incident response, recovery, postmortems, and corrective actions for federal platforms
• Collaborate with Eng, QA, Security, and Product teams to improve readiness and release quality
• Maintain runbooks, deployment docs, and config records for federal systems
• Support continuous monitoring and authorization with required artifacts
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to boost automation, debugging, and docs
