Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine in California is seeking a Staff Physician to join the Center Leadership Team under the Chief Medical Officer. This role directs the Center's medical policies and programs to deliver affordable, efficient, and high-quality occupational healthcare to businesses, industry and patients.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with options for part-time or full-time, and compensation ranging from $250,000 to $300,000 annually, prorated for fewer hours.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and CA license (or in progress).
• Board certification or eligibility with ABPM/ABFM/AOA or state board.
• Active DEA registration required.
• BLS and AED current; ACLS preferred; NRCME certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Spends 100% of time in a center providing direct patient care and leads by example.
• Serves as Primary Treating Physician for injuries and expedites case closure.
• Manages clinicians and ensures supervisory physician requirements for PAs/NPs.
• Fosters teamwork, quality, patient safety, and a collaborative environment.
• Ensures compliance with state Practice Acts, WC regulations, and coding standards.
