Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine PC is seeking a part-time Clinical Staff Physician in California. The role involves directing medical policies, providing high-quality occupational healthcare, and leading clinical teams to deliver efficient patient care.

The schedule is 2–3 days per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with the compensation range starting at $125.00–$150.00 hourly. Exact compensation varies by schedule, skills, and location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical program with an M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Active and unrestricted CA medical license (or license in progress).
• Active DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Board certified or board eligible through ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or the applicable state medical board, in accordance with state laws and scope of practice preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care at the center including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of occupational medicine patients.
• Leads by example to improve processes and patient experience and reduce visit times.
• Acts as Primary Treating Physician for injuries and collaborates with therapists and specialists for outcomes and case closure.
• Manages clinicians and support staff and ensures supervisory requirements for PAs/NPs are met.
• Maintains professional, collaborative environment and promotes teamwork and patient safety.
• Partners with leadership to optimize clinical workflows and continuous improvement.
• Ensures efficient use of clinical systems, documentation, coding, charge capture, and orders.
