Job summary

AGILE OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE PC seeks a Clinical Staff Physician to direct the center's medical policies and programs while delivering affordable, high-quality occupational healthcare. The role involves supervising staff and collaborating with leadership to ensure efficient, compliant clinical operations.

Attainment of an active CA medical license, DEA registration, BLS, and DOT/NRCME certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) is required, with a strong focus on patient safety and

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical program.
• Active and unrestricted CA medical license (or in progress).
• Active DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Board certified or board eligible through ABPM/ABFM/AOA or state board is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care at the center 100% of the time.
• Leads process improvements to shorten visit times and enhance patient experience.
• Acts as Primary Treating Physician for injuries, coordinating with therapists and specialists.
• Manages clinicians and support staff; ensures supervision requirements are met.
• Fosters teamwork, quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with leadership to drive clinical improvement and efficiency.
• Optimizes coding, charge capture, and documentation in clinical systems.
• Ensures compliance with state practice acts and WC regulations.
• Contacts employers about new injuries and clinical changes.
• Participates in team meetings to improve quality and center growth.
• Maintains relationships with clients and payers; responds within 24 hours.
• Plans staffing and skill development to optimize patient satisfaction and workflows.
• Supports colleague development through talent life-cycle activities.
