Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, and support immunization services. You will act as the pharmacy manager's proxy on shifts, coach team members, and collaborate with the patient care team to improve access and outcomes.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts without overlap, including coaching and follow-up of pharmacy team members.
Assumes Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and coaching the team to do the same.
