Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team and oversee operations at the store level. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and adherence to all regulations, while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and maintaining excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide compassionate patient care and coaching to the pharmacy team.
• Support immunization services and vaccine administration as appropriate.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain products.
• Ensure operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
