Job summary

CVS Health in Florida seeks a Staff Pharmacist to lead dispensing operations in a fast-paced retail pharmacy. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, coach the team, and ensure high-quality patient care, including counseling and immunizations where permissible.

Maintain compliance with state regulations and CVS policies while delivering compassionate service to patients. This full-time role requires active licensure, NPI, and attention to safety, with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide compassionate patient care and counseling and immunization services where permissible.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy when required to lead the pharmacy team.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
