Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our Michigan pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate trainees, and maintain positive patient relationships while upholding Meijer policies and federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising operations in the pharmacist's absence, delivering immunizations, and supporting growth of the pharmacy business through effective leadership and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana) Retail/Community.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies and procedures, and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform immunizations and clinical services where allowed.
