Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our Grand Rapids, MI pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate technicians, and maintain positive relationships with patients and leadership while ensuring compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.

In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, you will oversee operations and provide immunizations where allowed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you mentor staff and drive patient care

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy and be licensed.
• Experience with immunizations and patient counseling is expected.
• Thorough knowledge of Meijer Policies, procedures and state/federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor technicians to be effective team members.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
