Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the practice state.
• Pharmacist degree from an accredited program.
• Certification in immunizations is required or preferred.
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
• Know Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as a change agent.
• Prioritize workload with excellent organizational skills.
• Listen to patients and resolve needs with strong customer service.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.
