Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail environment. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality service while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

The role emphasizes clinical services such as immunizations and proactive patient education, with opportunities for growth within a large regional retailer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy is required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
