Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Michigan. You will fill prescriptions, provide patient education, and lead pharmacy operations with an emphasis on high-quality care.

Responsibilities include immunizations, mentoring technicians, and maintaining compliance with state and federal laws. The role requires 2 days per week at an alternate location, with Meijer Rewards supporting your development and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at a high level.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
