Job summary

Central Admixture Pharmacy is hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Houston, TX. You will prepare compounded sterile products, supervise IV technicians, interns, and support staff, ensuring adherence to CAPS SOPs and Board of Pharmacy rules.

The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor’s degree, 1+ year of related experience, TX license, and ACPE IV Certification. The schedule is 7-on-7-off, 8:30 am to 7 pm, with holidays/overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Valid TX Pharmacist license required.
• ACPE accredited IV Certification required.
• Schedule: 7-on-7-off (Wed–Tue), 8:30 am–7 pm, holidays/overtime as needed.
• Salary range is $120,225.53–$153,816 per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS SOPs.
• Assists in supervising IV technicians, interns and support personnel.
• Ensures compliance with State Board of Pharmacy and other regulators.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Resolves order discrepancies and provides after-hours On Call coverage as needed.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and Quality Control functions.
• Maintains inventory and equipment, and supports successful pharmacy operations.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; ensures accuracy and SOP compliance.
