Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a Staff Applications, Test & Failure Analysis Engineer to bridge the Electronics and System Engineering teams, solving PCBA issues, performing failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions in design and test.

You will collaborate with thermal, mechanical, firmware, RTL and optical engineers to improve test coverage and resolve customer problems across cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field.
• 7 years of relevant experience in applications, test and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the Quantum Computer electrical and system designs.
• Answer internal customer inquiries.
• Troubleshoot customer problems, participating in cross-functional teams as needed.
• Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal yield loss.
• Implement corrective action in test and designs as needed.
• Participate in design and test coverage reviews.
