Job summary

PsiQuantum in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Integration & Validation Engineer to lead the integration, test, and validation of complex electronic and control systems for photonic quantum computing platforms.

You will define strategies, collaborate across hardware, software, and quantum teams, and develop automated tests and diagnostics to ensure performance and reliability in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in EE/CE/CS with 5+ years in related field; or BS with 10+ years.
• Experience integrating, verifying, validating complex electronic systems including embedded software and FPGA.
• Experience with FAT/SAT, production bring-up, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, bring-up, verification, and validation of electronic, embedded software, FPGA, and control subsystems.
• Define and execute system integration and test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automated test frameworks.
• Develop system-level test plans with teams to verify hardware, software, readout, timing, and data interfaces.
• Integrate and validate detector readout, high-speed digitizers, PIC multiplexing, timing, and DAQ subsystems.
• Drive root-cause investigations and data-driven debugging across hardware, firmware, software, and control interfaces.
• Validate releases and develop diagnostics and health-monitoring tools to improve reliability.
• Create integration procedures, validation protocols, and technical docs for manufacturing and field support.
